TargetMol Magrose Beads Strep-Tactin use a special protein coupling process to covalently couple Strep-Tactin protein to the surface of superparamagnetic magnetic beads, which is a new type of functionalized material specially designed for the isolation and purification of Strep-tag II proteins, and can be used to obtain high-purity purified proteins in an efficient and rapid manner. Magrose Beads Strep-Tactin use the novel Strep-Tactin/Strep-Tag protein purification system, which mimics the streptavidin-biotin system, combining high specificity with mild elution conditions. Compared to other tags, Strep-tag II consists of a small 8 amino acid tag (Trp-Ser-His-Pro-Gln-Phe-Glu-Lys). The small size of the tag reduces the potential interference with the structure or function of the target protein, eliminates the need for excision, and does not affect the structure or function of the fused protein. The affinity of Strep-Tactin for Strep-tag II is nearly 100-fold higher than that of Streptavidin, and the mild conditions of isolation and purification can be achieved under physiological conditions, which can preserve the biological activity of proteins and obtain target proteins with purity of over 99%.
